The Keysight E36300 Series is a line of triple-output bench DC power supplies built for the test bench. Keysight positions the series to deliver the performance of system power supplies at an affordable bench price, combining low output ripple and noise with accurate voltage and current programming and readback so a design can be powered and measured with confidence.
A bench DC power supply provides controlled, regulated voltage and current to a device under test. The E36300 Series is suited to powering precision circuitry, where its low normal-mode noise assures quality power, and to powering multiple analog or digital circuits or devices from a single instrument. Its built-in OVP, OCP, and OTP protection supports limit testing while helping prevent damage to the DUT.
The E36312A and E36313A extend into design characterization workflows—emulating the behavior of power subsystems early in the design process, controlling multiple voltage sequences, measuring wide dynamic ranges of current, and varying voltage speed to reflect real circuit characteristics.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois.
Keysight Technologies traces its measurement heritage through Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement group then became the independent Keysight Technologies in 2014, the brand under which this product line is sold today.
The E36300 Series comprises three triple-output bench power supplies that share a common architecture but scale in capability. Keysight describes the line as delivering the performance of system power supplies at an affordable bench price, packaging three outputs — a 6 V rail and two 25 V rails — into a single instrument across all three models.
The series comparison distinguishes the E36311A as the 80 W economy model, the E36312A as the 80 W full-featured model, and the E36313A as the 160 W high-current model. The sections below summarize how the models differ; the comparison table that follows lists the per-model specifications in full.
Each new model below is listed as its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the model that fits your output and feature requirements, then choose the available condition and configuration on that model's page.
The E36311A is the 80 W economy model: its channels 2 and 3 operate in tracking mode only, it provides 2-wire sensing and a USB interface, and it does not offer data logging, output sequencing, LIST mode, or auto series/parallel voltage and current boost. The E36312A is the 80 W full-featured model, adding electrically isolated independent channels 2 and 3, 2- or 4-wire sensing, USB and LAN with optional GPIB, data logging, output sequencing, LIST mode, and auto series/parallel operation.
The E36313A is the 160 W high-current model, offering twice the current of the other two — 10 A on the 6 V rail and 2 A on each 25 V rail — while carrying the same extended feature set as the E36312A. On the E36312A and E36313A, auto series/parallel lets channels 2 and 3 combine to reach up to 50 V or up to 4 A. The comparison table details each model's outputs, regulation, accuracy, and interface options.

Important: Data logging on the E36312A and E36313A requires an external USB memory device to start.
Important: The recessed binding post option (Opt. RBP) provides complete insulation of front panel connections for extra safety and is not upgradable; it must be ordered with the instrument.
Important: Data logging, output sequencing, and LIST mode are available on the E36312A and E36313A models only; the E36311A does not offer these features.
Important: All specifications are not applicable during auto series/parallel mode.
Usage tip: pair the E36312A or E36313A with Keysight BenchVue (BV0003B Power Supply Control & Automation) to connect, control, log data, and capture screenshots from multiple supplies without programming.
