The P7350, P7330, and P6330 are high-performance differential probes engineered for high-speed differential probing with high signal fidelity. They deliver high-bandwidth, low circuit loading, and low-noise differential probing solutions built for high-speed circuit designers working on technologies with very fast clock speeds and edge rates. The small probe head geometry, combined with an assortment of probe tip accessories, lets these probes accommodate manual probing of surface-mount devices on densely packed circuit boards.
These probes target design and debug across several high-speed domains. Listed applications include communications work such as Gigabit Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and InfiniBand; semiconductor characterization and validation for PCI-Express, Serial ATA, IEEE 1394, USB 2.0, RAMBUS, and DDR; and disk drive design. The P7330 and P6330 enable both time-domain and frequency-domain measurements on the high-bandwidth signals commonly found in digital IC designs, communication applications, and disk drive applications.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, giving buyers a single accountable source for both new and used test and measurement equipment. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
The P7350, P7330, and P6330 form a family of high-performance differential probes that share a common purpose: excellent signal fidelity for high-bandwidth differential probing in design and debug of high-speed circuits. All three provide high-bandwidth, low circuit loading, and low-noise differential probing, with small probe head geometry and probe tip accessories suited to manual probing of surface-mount devices.
Within the family, the P7350 is the highest-bandwidth member and adds variable spacing and solder-down capability, while the P7330 and P6330 share matched bandwidth and differ primarily in their host interface. The models differ in bandwidth, rise time, attenuation, common-mode rejection, input ranges, and interface, as detailed in the comparison table below.
Each model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing, so you can select the specific pre-owned probe and interface that fit your bench. Compare the models here, then open the individual page for the exact configuration you need.
The P7350 improves usability with variable spacing and solder-down capability and a small form factor for ease of use on densely packed circuit boards with difficult-to-reach probe points. It employs the patented TekConnect interface, which preserves signal integrity to 10 GHz and beyond to meet present and future bandwidth needs.
The clearest difference is bandwidth and speed: the P7350 provides 5.0 GHz bandwidth with a guaranteed rise time of <100 ps and 6.25X attenuation, while the P7330 and P6330 each provide 3.5 GHz bandwidth with a guaranteed rise time of <140 ps and 5X attenuation. Differential input range is +/-2.5 V on the P7350 versus +/-2 V on the P7330 and P6330, and common-mode input range is +6.25 V to -5 V on the P7350 versus +5 V to -4 V on the other two.
Interface is the other key distinction: the P7350 and P7330 use the TekConnect interface, while the P6330 uses the TEKPROBE II BNC interface. Common-mode rejection at 1 MHz is typically >45 dB on the P7350 and >60 dB on the P7330 and P6330, and input-referred noise is approximately 46 nV/root-Hz on the P7350 versus 35 nV/root-Hz on the P7330 and P6330. All three models share a 100 kOhm differential input resistance, a +/-25 V (DC plus peak AC) non-destruct maximum, and a 1.3 m cable length, as shown in the comparison table.
| Model | Bandwidth | Rise Time | Attenuation |
|---|---|---|---|
| P6330 | 3.5 GHz | <140 ps | 5X |
| P7350 | 5.0 GHz | <100 ps | 6.25X |
| P7330 | 3.5 GHz | <140 ps | 5X |
Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Important: Use with CSA/TDS8200 and CSA/TDS8000 Series oscilloscopes requires the 80A03 TekConnect Interface Adapter; the P6330 and TekConnect TDS7000/B Series require a TCA-BNC adapter.
Important: Recommended accessories are not included with the probe and must be ordered separately: IEEE 1394 Breakout Connector (order 679-5027-00) and IC Grabber (order 013-0309-00, Pkg. of 2).
Recommended pairing: the 1103 TEKPROBE II power supply for interfacing the P6330 with other BNC instruments.
