The AP033 is a high-performance active differential probe. High bandwidth, excellent common mode rejection ratio (CMRR), and a low noise floor are the characteristics that define it. The probe consists of a probe head providing ÷1 or ÷10 attenuation and an amplifier body that attaches to the oscilloscope front panel, with the amplifier gain set to either x1 or x10. Both the probe head attenuator and the amplifier gain are controlled through the ProBus interface, so the probe becomes an integral part of the oscilloscope rather than a standalone accessory.
The combination of high bandwidth, strong common mode rejection, and low noise makes the AP033 suited to applications such as disk drive design and failure analysis, as well as wireless and data communication design. Its wide dynamic range — from x10 gain through ÷10 attenuation, and ÷100 with the plug-on attenuator — lets a single probe address signals of very different amplitude without swapping hardware.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Because we keep equipment on hand rather than sourcing it on demand, we can move quickly on availability and condition questions. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
LeCroy Corporation, founded in 1964, was acquired by Teledyne Technologies in 2012 and has since operated under the Teledyne LeCroy name.

Important: Maximum non-destruct voltage: ±200 V DC continuous.
Important: When used with a LeCroy digital oscilloscope, no external power supply is required. For use without a LeCroy oscilloscope, the optional ProBus to BNC Adapter and External Power Supply (ADPPS) is required and must be ordered separately.
Important: The AP033 senses when signals exceed ±5.5 V and switches its input attenuator into the signal path; with the input attenuator in place, the input can withstand 200 V DC indefinitely.
