View full details

The ADP30X high-voltage active differential probes are safe, easy-to-use instruments ideally suited for measuring power electronics. The series comprises the ADP300 and ADP305. The ADP300 is designed for troubleshooting low-frequency power devices and other circuits where the reference potential is elevated from the ground or the location of the ground is unknown, while the ADP305 is designed for measuring the high-speed floating voltages found in today's power electronics.

A high-voltage differential probe measures the voltage difference between two points in a circuit without referencing either point to ground. Within this family, that capability is applied to measuring power electronics, troubleshooting low-frequency power devices, working with circuits whose reference potential is elevated from ground or whose ground location is unknown, and capturing the high-speed floating voltages present in modern power electronics.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned probe is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units leave the warehouse factory-sealed exactly as received.

Brand Heritage

LeCroy Corporation was acquired by Teledyne Technologies in 2012 and has since operated under the Teledyne LeCroy name.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The ADP30X high-voltage active differential probes are safe, easy-to-use instruments ideally suited for measuring power electronics. The series includes the ADP300 and ADP305, which differ in bandwidth and intended application while sharing the family's common mode and differential voltage ratings.

Both models are active differential probes built around the ProBus system with full remote control, and both are rated to EN 61010 CAT III with 80 dB CMRR at 50/60 Hz.

Each pre-owned model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the model that matches your bandwidth and application requirement to view its specifications and availability.

The ADP300 provides 20 MHz bandwidth and is designed for troubleshooting low-frequency power devices and other circuits where the reference potential is elevated from the ground or the location of the ground is unknown.

The two models are separated primarily by bandwidth and target application. The ADP300 offers 20 MHz bandwidth for troubleshooting low-frequency power devices, while the ADP305 offers 100 MHz bandwidth for measuring the high-speed floating voltages found in today's power electronics.

Aside from bandwidth and intended use, the models share the family's core ratings: 1,000 V rms common mode voltage, 1,400 V peak differential voltage, 80 dB CMRR at 50/60 Hz, EN 61010 CAT III, and ProBus connectivity with full remote control. See the comparison table that follows for the per-model values.

Model Bandwidth Max Differential Voltage Max Common Mode Voltage
AP031 15 MHz ±700 V DC + Peak AC ±700 V DC + Peak AC
ADP300 20 MHz 1,400 V peak 1,000 V rms
ADP305 100 MHz 1,400 V peak 1,000 V rms

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Product Core & Specifications

Specification Value
