View full details

The Com-Power AH-220 is a broadband, linearly polarized double ridge waveguide horn antenna covering 200 MHz to 2 GHz. The antenna is constructed from high grade aluminum with a corrosion-resistant conductive coating and is fitted with an N-type female coaxial connector. Its aperture measures 94.5 cm wide by 69 cm high with a depth of 94 cm, and the assembly weighs 29.5 lbs (13.4 kg).

The AH-220 was designed specifically to serve as the receiving antenna for radiated emissions testing between 200 MHz and 1 GHz per RE102 of MIL-STD-461, which calls for a double ridge horn with a 69 x 94.5 cm opening. Beyond that primary application, Com-Power lists the antenna as suitable for use as a transmitting antenna for establishing radiated RF fields in product immunity testing, as well as for chamber characterizations and comparisons, shielding effectiveness tests of large enclosures or chambers, field monitoring, site surveys, and other general-purpose work.

ValueTronics International has stocked, tested, and shipped electronic test and measurement equipment from our 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois since 1992. We carry the AH-220 alongside the broader Com-Power EMC antenna line, supporting standard catalog inventory rather than drop-shipping from third parties, so customers calling about an EMC compliance project can speak with people who can verify the physical unit in stock.

Important: MIL-STD-461 RE102 specifies a double ridge horn with a 69 x 94.5 cm opening for radiated emissions testing between 200 MHz and 1 GHz — the AH-220 aperture is sized to that requirement.Important: Each antenna is individually calibrated per SAE ARP958 with NIST traceability. The calibration data and certificate is provided. Recognized ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available upon request.Important: Com-Power's AT-220 Tripod is recommended support for the AH-220 (sold separately).Recommended pairing: the Com-Power AT-220 tripod is identified by Com-Power as the recommended support for the AH-220, attaching via the 1/4-inch x 20 mounting holes on the antenna's vertical and horizontal mounting plates.
