View full details

The SR570 is a low-noise current preamplifier that converts a small input current into a proportional output voltage. Rather than terminating a current source into a resistor and amplifying the resulting voltage, it amplifies the current directly, which preserves amplitude and phase accuracy in the presence of stray cable capacitance and lets the source operate into a virtual null instead of a large bias voltage.

Because it can sink current directly into a virtual null or a selected DC bias, the SR570 suits measurements from current sources and detectors that cannot tolerate a large termination voltage. A rear-panel opto-isolated toggle input inverts the sign of the gain in response to a TTL signal, supporting synchronous detection with a chopped signal, while a blanking input quickly turns the gain off and on to prevent front-end overloading.

ValueTronics supports every SR570 order from our own 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, where we stock and hold our own inventory. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
