An LCR meter measures the inductance (L), capacitance (C), and resistance (R) of passive components by applying a known AC test signal and analyzing the resulting impedance. The ZM2371, ZM2372, and ZM2376 are bench LCR meters that report both primary parameters — |Z|, |Y|, L, C, R, and G — and secondary parameters including Q, D, θ, X, B, Rs, Rp, Lp, and Rdc, with parallel, series, or automatic equivalent-circuit selection.
Across the series, primary and secondary parameters can be selected automatically, and each instrument displays the voltage applied to the device under test alongside the current flowing through it. A built-in comparator evaluates measurements against multiple limit conditions — up to 32 steps for total comparison — and drives an optically isolated handler interface whose BIN outputs support sorting of components in automated handling systems.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the instruments we list are on hand and ready to ship.
The ZM2371, ZM2372, and ZM2376 form a family of LCR meters that share a common measurement architecture — eight measurement ranges from 100 mΩ to 1 MΩ, 0.08% basic accuracy, constant-voltage/constant-current drive, and a full set of correction functions — while differing primarily in maximum measurement frequency and comparator bin capacity.
All three models present the same primary and secondary parameters and the same standard remote-control interfaces, so the choice among them centers on the measurement frequency range and the sorting capacity an application requires.
Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with new-condition pricing. Select the specific model that matches your measurement frequency and sorting requirements to see its current availability and price.
The ZM2376 extends the measurement frequency to 5.5 MHz — the widest in this family — offers a wider internal DC bias setting range, and is supplied with IVI drivers for instrument-control environments.
The most significant difference across the family is maximum measurement frequency: the ZM2371 and ZM2372 cover settings up to 100 kHz, while the ZM2376 extends to 5.5 MHz. The ZM2376 also offers a wider internal DC bias setting range and is supplied with IVI drivers, whereas the ZM2371 and ZM2372 include a LabVIEW driver.
The models also differ in comparator bin capacity and in physical depth and weight. Refer to the comparison table below for the exact figures per model.
| Model | Max. Measurement Frequency | Frequency Resolution | Max. Internal DC Bias |
|---|---|---|---|
| ZM2371 | 100 kHz | 5 digits | +2.50 V |
| ZM2372 | 100 kHz | 5 digits | +2.50 V |
| ZM2376 | 5.5 MHz | 6 digits | +5 V |
Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.

Important: Specified measurement accuracy assumes a warm-up of 30 minutes or more, open and short zero correction, cable-length correction per the connection cable length, and a one-year calibration cycle.
Important: The standard supplied accessories (power cord set, instruction manual, CD-ROM/drivers) do not include a measurement fixture or test leads. A connection cable/fixture appropriate to the DUT is required to perform measurements; the datasheet's cable-length correction supports cable lengths of 0 m, 1 m, 2 m and 4 m.
Important: The LAN interface (10BASE-T / 100BASE-TX) is an option and is not fitted on the standard model.
