The Sencore LC103/STA260 is an industrial component testing system that dynamically and accurately tests capacitors, inductors, and power semiconductors, including IGBTs and SCRs. It pinpoints bad capacitors and inductors in-circuit, and is described as the only tester that dynamically analyzes capacitors out of circuit for all four failures: value, equivalent series resistance (ESR), leakage, and dielectric absorption (DA).
The system is built to test a wide range of industrial components: IGBTs, SCRs, switching transformers, power transistors, capacitors (including mica and industrial capacitors), and power diodes. It tests IGBTs, Triacs, SCRs, diodes, FETs, and bipolar transistors at full voltage, and automatically applies the proper gate or base signal to turn on three-leaded power components. Surface-mount components can be tested in-circuit using the AP291 adjustable test probe.
ValueTronics keeps this equipment available from our own 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, where we stock and hold our inventory rather than sourcing it on demand. Every pre-owned unit ships from that facility; pre-owned units are inspected and functionally verified in-house before they go out, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received.
