The Amprobe IR608A is a handheld infrared thermometer designed for quick, non-contact temperature measurement. The instrument pairs a pistol-grip form factor with a laser pointer for easy targeting, allowing the user to point and press for a temperature reading without making physical contact with the surface being measured.
Per the datasheet, the IR608A is positioned as a diagnostic tool for HVAC/R, fire safety and protection, industrial maintenance, automotive, and quality control applications.
