The Tektronix TDS714L is a four-channel digital storage oscilloscope offering 500 MHz bandwidth and a 500 MS/s sample rate. Its high bandwidth and sample rate are intended to reveal the true signals that other scopes may be missing, and it combines a wide dynamic range, flat response, fast overdrive recovery, calibrated DC offset, 1 mV/div sensitivity, 1 ns peak detect, and internal calibration.

Listed applications for the TDS714L span power supply design and debug, electromechanical design and analysis, biomedical product development, automotive electronics design and debug, industrial control, and high-fidelity signal acquisition. These reflect work where capturing accurate, repeatable waveforms across four channels is central to the measurement task.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit we sell is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Tektronix, founded in 1946, has operated as a subsidiary of Danaher Corporation since its acquisition in 2007, while continuing to design and manufacture instruments under the Tektronix brand.

Important: Application-specific software packages require a hard disk drive (Opt. HD or Opt. 2M).
Important: The video trigger that provides line and field selection for NTSC, PAL, and HDTV standards is optional.
Important: Active and differential probes operate via the TEKPROBE interface; the P6243 active probe achieves the full 500-MHz bandwidth on the TDS714L.
Recommended pairing: the Tektronix P6243 active probe is designed for the TDS714L and can achieve its full 500 MHz bandwidth while providing low loading.
