A digital multimeter measures the fundamental electrical quantities — voltage, current, and resistance — that define every powered circuit. The 2709B is an auto-ranging True RMS handheld digital multimeter from the BK Precision 2700 Tool Kit Series. It combines a 6600-count 3 3/4 digit LCD with a green backlight, an auto/manual ranging selector, and a measurement suite covering DC voltage to 1000 V, AC voltage to 750 V, AC and DC current to 10 A, resistance to 66 MΩ, capacitance to 66 mF, and frequency to 66 MHz. Diode test and continuity test are included, with continuity audible indication below 30 Ω and a 100 ms response time.
