The Tektronix PWS2000 Series is a line of linear-regulated DC power supplies built around four models — the PWS2185, PWS2323, PWS2326, and PWS2721. Each delivers clean, accurate output power, combining low-noise linear regulation with a bright vacuum fluorescent display, a direct-entry numeric keypad, and 20 user-definable setup memories. The series is designed with the ease-of-use and familiar operation expected from Tektronix.
With wide current and voltage ranges plus 10 mA and 10 mV resolution, the PWS2000 Series satisfies a wide variety of applications. The numeric keypad makes it easy to specify a precise current limit before a test begins, and a maximum output voltage can be set to prevent accidental voltage settings above the specified maximum — helping prevent damaged circuits and lost test time. A user-definable password can lock the front panel to prevent unwanted adjustments during critical tests.

The PWS2000 Series comprises four linear DC power supply models that share a common operating platform — low-noise linear regulation, 10 mV / 10 mA setting resolution, a bright vacuum fluorescent display, a direct-entry numeric keypad, and 20 setup memories — while differing in their rated output voltage and current. This lets a buyer choose the rating that fits the application without changing the operating experience across the bench.
Across the series, all four models share the same 0.05% basic voltage accuracy, 0.2% basic current accuracy, ripple and noise performance, and three-year warranty. The distinction between models is the DC output envelope each one delivers, summarized in the comparison table below.

The four models differ primarily in their DC output rating: the PWS2185 provides 0 to 18 V at up to 5 A, the PWS2323 provides 0 to 32 V at up to 3 A, the PWS2326 provides 0 to 32 V at up to 6 A, and the PWS2721 provides 0 to 72 V at up to 1.5 A. The two 32 V models share the same voltage ceiling but differ in available current, while the PWS2721 reaches the highest voltage in the series.
Secondary differences track these ratings. The PWS2326 draws up to 400 VA, while the PWS2185, PWS2323, and PWS2721 draw up to 250 VA. The PWS2185 weighs 5.6 kg, while the PWS2323, PWS2326, and PWS2721 each weigh 6.7 kg. Readback resolution and load-regulation figures also vary slightly by model.
