The zone trigger enables the graphical separation of events in the time and frequency domain with up to eight zones of any shape. These can be logically combined over multiple channels' math functions. This makes it possible to separate read/write sequences from the memory interfaces in the time domain. An outstanding feature is the ability to use the zone trigger in the time and frequency domain.

First zone trigger in time and frequency domain

The Zone trigger is the first trigger that works in both time and frequency domain. To isolate events, you can define up to eight zones of any shape on multiple channels and in time or frequency domain. For example, you can easily isolate distortions on power rails with the unique frequency trigger capability.

Ideal to isolate events by drawing user-defined zones on the display

The Zone trigger is very easy to set up; just draw a zone on the display and define if the waveform should intersect or not. This means that only the desired waveforms are shown for detailed analysis. With the zone trigger, you can isolate read/write sequences of memory interfaces in seconds.
