The Keysight N9010B is the EXA X-Series signal analyzer with a capacitive multi-touch interface, positioned by Keysight as a cost-effective, economy-class instrument for signal analysis extending up to millimeter-wave frequencies. It is built around delivering maximum value in signal analysis—helping an engineer find the answer faster, whether the goal is tighter design margins or shorter test times.

A signal analyzer measures and characterizes signals in the frequency domain, resolving their amplitude, frequency, and spectral content. The N9010B carries a PowerSuite set of measurements—channel power, occupied bandwidth, adjacent channel power, power statistics CCDF, harmonic distortion, third-order intermod, burst power, spurious emission, and spectrum emission mask—with results referenced to communications formats including W-CDMA, IS-95, and cdma2000. With Option EMC the analyzer adds CISPR-compliant EMI bandwidths (200 Hz, 9 kHz, 120 kHz, 1 MHz) and MIL-STD-461E-compliant EMI bandwidths (10 Hz to 1 MHz).

ValueTronics stocks the equipment it sells from its own 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Keysight Technologies traces its instrument heritage to Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999. That measurement business was then established as Keysight Technologies in 2014, which is the brand under which this analyzer is produced today.

Important: Maximum safe input level: +30 dBm (1 W) average total power; peak pulse power +50 dBm (100 W) for <10 μs pulse width and <1% duty cycle with input attenuation ≥ 30 dB. DC volts: ±0.2 Vdc DC coupled, ±100 Vdc AC coupled.
Important: External mixing (Option EXM) is available only with the EXA millimeter-wave configurations, Option 532 or 544.
Important: If Auto Align is set to Light, performance is not warranted, and nominal performance will degrade to become a factor of 1.4 wider for any specification subject to alignment, such as amplitude tolerances.
Important: When Option MPB (microwave preselector bypass) is installed and enabled, some aspects of the analyzer performance change; refer to the EXA specification guide for details.
Usage tip: the rear-panel +28 V (pulsed) noise source drive is designed for use with Keysight SNS Series noise sources.
