The Keysight InfiniiVision Oscilloscope Probes and Accessories Selection Guide is a reference catalog covering the full probe and accessory ecosystem designed for use with Keysight InfiniiVision Series oscilloscopes, including the 1000 X-, 2000 X-, 3000A/T X-, 4000 X-, 6000 X-, 5000, 6000, and 7000 Series instruments. The guide is organized by probe category, with detailed compatibility tables, electrical characteristics, accessory part numbers, and ordering information for every supported model.
The guide is used by engineers and technicians selecting probes for specific measurement applications across the InfiniiVision oscilloscope range. It documents passive probes for general-purpose voltage measurement, high-voltage passive probes for measurements up to 3.7 kV, the InfiniiMax active probe system for high-bandwidth single-ended and differential measurements, InfiniiMode probes with selectable differential, single-ended, and common-mode operation, high-voltage differential probes for floating measurements in power electronics and motor drive testing, single-ended active probes for low-loading high-frequency probing, MSO logic probes for mixed-signal oscilloscope digital channels, clamp-on AC/DC current probes for non-invasive current measurement, Rogowski coil current probes for large AC currents in confined spaces, high-sensitivity current probes for low-level current consumption analysis, wedge probe adapters for surface-mount IC connections, and the T2A interface adapter that enables selected TekProbe-BNC level 2 probes to be used with the Keysight AutoProbe interface.
ValueTronics International, LLC stores and tests every instrument and accessory in its 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Each Keysight InfiniiVision probe and accessory passes through our in-house inspection and verification process before shipping. Unlike drop-shippers and pass-through brokers, we hold inventory in our own facility, which means we can confirm exact configurations, verify accessory completeness, and match the specific probe model and option set to your InfiniiVision oscilloscope series before the order is committed.
Keysight Technologies was spun off from Agilent Technologies in 2014, taking with it the electronic measurement product lines that Agilent itself had inherited from the test and measurement division of Hewlett-Packard following the 1999 HP corporate split. The InfiniiVision oscilloscope family and its AutoProbe interface trace their engineering lineage through this HP-to-Agilent-to-Keysight history.
The Keysight InfiniiVision probe and accessory ecosystem spans seven oscilloscope series (1000 X, 2000 X, 3000A/T X, 4000 X, 6000 X, 5000, 6000, and 7000) and dozens of probe models grouped by probing technology: passive probes for general-purpose voltage measurement, active probes for high-bandwidth and low-loading applications, differential probes for floating and high-voltage measurements, current probes for AC/DC current measurement, MSO logic probes for digital channel input, and a range of mechanical accessories including wedge adapters, positioners, racking, and carrying cases.
Selection within the family is driven by oscilloscope-series compatibility (governed by the AutoProbe interface presence and version), required bandwidth, measurement type (single-ended, differential, common-mode, or current), input voltage range, and environmental operating conditions. The selection guide's compatibility table is the primary tool for confirming that a chosen probe model is recommended, compatible, or incompatible with the host oscilloscope before ordering.
Each new probe and accessory configuration listed in this guide is offered as its own line item with condition-matched pricing. Confirm the specific probe model, option string, and accessory kit content against the oscilloscope-series compatibility table before placing the order.
This datasheet is a selection guide rather than a single-instrument datasheet. It documents the full probe and accessory family for the InfiniiVision oscilloscope range. Model-specific characteristics, accessories, and ordering information are organized by probe category in the sections of this guide.
The principal differences between probe sub-families documented in this guide are: bandwidth range (from 20 MHz general-purpose passive probes through 7 GHz InfiniiMax active probes), interface type (BNC versus AutoProbe), measurement mode (single-ended, differential, common-mode, current, or logic), input voltage and current range (signal-level through 3.7 kV high-voltage and 3,000 Apk current), and environmental operating range (standard bench versus the extreme-temperature N7007A passive probe and N7013A differential extension kit rated -40 to +85 °C).
Oscilloscope-series compatibility is the dominant constraint. Active probes with the AutoProbe interface require an oscilloscope chassis that provides that interface; the DSO 1000 X- and MSO/DSO 2000 X-Series do not support AutoProbe active probes, while the 4000 X- and 6000 X-Series support the Infiniium AutoProbe interface with up to four active probes per chassis. Refer to the probe compatibility table in this guide for the specific recommended, compatible, or incompatible status of each probe model against each oscilloscope series.
