The Keysight E5080B ENA Series is a vector network analyzer that brings R&D-level performance up to 53 GHz to a midrange platform. It is offered in 2- or 4-port configurations with frequency coverage from 9 kHz up to 20 GHz, or from 100 kHz up to 53 GHz for higher-frequency work. The instrument is built on the same measurement science as Keysight's PNA, PXI, and USB VNA families, and it shares a common software platform, user interface, and SCPI command set with those instruments to keep measurements consistent across an R&D-to-manufacturing workflow.
A vector network analyzer measures how a device transmits and reflects RF and microwave signals, characterizing parameters such as gain, loss, and impedance match across frequency. The E5080B is designed for complete device characterization of passive components, amplifiers, mixers, and frequency converters. As devices become more highly integrated, complete characterization calls for a combined RF and microwave measurement solution, which this platform is built to provide.
ValueTronics stocks test and measurement equipment in our own 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is sourced and fulfilled directly by our own team. Each pre-owned instrument is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
Keysight Technologies traces its measurement heritage to Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun off as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement division then became the independent Keysight Technologies in 2014, the brand under which this instrument is produced.
The E5080B ENA Series is offered as a single platform with a broad set of options that let you match performance to budget and measurement needs. Buyers select a 2-port or 4-port configuration and a frequency span that reaches up to 20 GHz, or up to 53 GHz for higher-frequency work.
Because the series uses the same measurement science and a common software platform as Keysight's PNA, PXI, and USB VNA instruments, the chosen E5080B option delivers a consistent user interface and remote-programming interface across instruments used in R&D and manufacturing.
Each E5080B option below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the pre-owned unit. Review the configuration that matches your required frequency coverage, port count, and connector type before ordering.
The E5080B is positioned as a midrange platform that brings R&D-level performance up to 53 GHz, with best-in-class dynamic range, trace noise, and temperature stability cited as the basis for its measurement reliability and repeatability.
Options across the series differ primarily in port count and frequency coverage: 2-port versus 4-port configurations, with upper frequency limits of 4.5, 6.5, 9, 14, 18, or 20 GHz on the lower band, and 26.5, 32, 44, or 53 GHz on the higher band. An internal second source is available on 4-port configurations, denoted by the second-source option suffix.
Test-port connector type also tracks the frequency option: Type-N female and 3.5 mm options cover the lower-frequency configurations, 2.4 mm covers configurations up to 44 GHz, and 1.85 mm is used for the 53 GHz configuration. See the comparison table for the exact frequency coverage, port count, and connector type of each option.
| Model | Frequency Range | Ports | Connector Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| E5080B | 9 kHz to 53 GHz | 2 or 4 | Type-N / 3.5 mm / 2.4 mm / 1.85 mm |
| E5092A | 50 MHz to 20 GHz | 38 test ports | SMA female |
