The HT Italia HTFLEX33E is a flexible clamp meter designed to measure AC current up to 3000 A RMS using a flexible coil that wraps around the conductor under test. Unlike rigid-jaw clamp meters, the flexible coil design allows the probe to be looped around large cables, busbars, or conductor bundles that cannot fit inside conventional clamp jaws, making it well suited to measurements in distribution panels and around large electrical infrastructure.

A flexible clamp meter of this type is used to measure current non-invasively — the conductor does not need to be broken or disconnected to make the measurement. The HTFLEX33E supports conductors up to 174 mm in diameter and a 600 mm flexible coil length, which extends its reach to large-conductor applications where standard clamp meters cannot mechanically engage the conductor.
