The HT Italia SOLAR300N is a photovoltaic installation certifier combined with a professional network analyzer, designed to perform the full battery of tests required to commission, troubleshoot, and document PV plant performance. The instrument pairs with the SOLAR-02 remote unit, which—once synchronized—independently records irradiance and temperature data at the panel location. Only at the conclusion of the test is the remote unit reconnected to the master to download the captured data, allowing the technician to leave a remote logger at the array while continuing inverter-side and AC-side measurements.

Applications listed for the SOLAR300N center on certifying photovoltaic installations and on professional network/power quality analysis of both single-phase and three-phase plants. Synoptic connection schemes shown on the display guide the user while wiring the instrument to the installation under test, covering the DC side of the array, the inverter, and the AC distribution. The SOLAR-02 remote unit can also display irradiance and temperature values in independent mode, making it suitable for pre-tests on an installation before a full test/recording session begins. Captured results can be downloaded with TopView software and exported as XLS or PDF files.

After preliminary synchronisation, the SOLAR-02 records irradiance and temperature values independently; at the end of the test the remote unit must be reconnected to the master unit to download the recorded data.Important: Current measurements via the STD external transducer input are performed through clamps with 1V output voltage at nominal current.
