The EasyView Dual Input Thermometers are compact, rugged handheld thermocouple thermometers built around a large backlit display, offered in two models: the EA10 EasyView Dual K Thermometer and the EA15 EasyView Dual Input 7 Thermocouple Type Temperature Datalogger. Both share a common chassis measuring 6 x 2.8 x 1.5 inches (152 x 72 x 37 mm) and weighing 8.3 oz (235 g), and both accept two temperature inputs at once.

A dual-input design lets the instrument show two temperatures together or compute a difference between them: the display can present [T1 plus T2], [T1-T2 plus T1], or [T1-T2 plus T2]. Temperature can be read in Fahrenheit, Celsius, or Kelvin at 0.1° resolution. A Data Hold function freezes the current reading, a Timer function reports elapsed time and the time at which the MIN and MAX readings were captured, and Max/Min values are stored for later recall. Auto Power Off helps preserve battery life, and the unit provides low-battery and overrange indication.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned order ships from that facility; each used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it goes out, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The EasyView Dual Input Thermometer family gives buyers a choice between a basic Type K instrument and a multi-thermocouple-type datalogging instrument, both sharing the same compact, holstered form factor, large backlit display, and dual-input measurement modes. The EA10 covers straightforward Type K work, while the EA15 broadens thermocouple compatibility and adds data recording.

Both models present T1, T2, and the T1-T2 differential, read in °F, °C, or K at 0.1° resolution, and carry the same complement of Data Hold, Timer, Max/Min recall, Auto Power Off, and low-battery/overrange indication features.

Each model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the pre-owned configuration you select. Choose the model that matches your thermocouple and datalogging requirements, then select the listing for the condition you need.

The EA10 is the Type K dual-input model and adds an OFFSET key that zeroes the display so readings can be taken relative to a reference point.

The clearest difference is thermocouple support: the EA10 is a Type K-only instrument, while the EA15 accepts Types J, K, E, T, R, S, and N. Accuracy also differs — the EA10 specifies ±0.3% (+2°F/+1°C), and the EA15 specifies ±0.05% of reading (+1.5°F/+0.75°C) on Types J, K, E, T, N and ±0.05% of reading (+4°F/+2°C) on Types R, S.

The EA15 further adds a built-in datalogger storing up to 8800 data sets, a Real Time Clock, an RS-232 PC port, and Windows-compatible software with cable; the EA10 includes the OFFSET zero function for relative measurements. Both are offered with an optional NIST-traceable calibration certificate. See the comparison table that follows for the per-model thermocouple ranges and specifications.

Model Thermocouple Types Datalogging PC Interface
EA15 J, K, E, T, R, S, N Up to 8800 data sets RS-232
EA10 Type K No None

Additional differences in specifications beyond the few shown above are not listed here — see each model's full specifications below.
