The Com-Power LI-3P-1x Series is a family of three-phase Line Impedance Stabilization Networks (LISNs) designed for power line conducted emissions compliance testing. The series consists of four models — the LI-3P-116, LI-3P-132, LI-3P-163, and LI-3P-1100 — which share the same 150 kHz to 30 MHz frequency range and 50Ω/50 μH four-conductor network topology, differing primarily in their per-line continuous current ratings of 16, 32, 63, and 100 amperes respectively.

These LISNs provide the measurement platform required for power line conducted emissions compliance testing under most worldwide commercial product standards. During the measurement, the LISN provides a defined, stable impedance across the measurement frequency range, isolates the equipment under test (EUT) and measurement circuit from the power source to minimize its influence on results, and couples the disturbance voltages to the coaxial measurement port that connects to the measuring instrument.

The four models share identical RF performance characteristics — insertion loss below 0.7 dB, isolation greater than 40 dB, 150 kHz to 30 MHz range — and identical maximum voltage ratings of 500 Vrms line-to-line, 288 Vrms line-to-ground, and 705 V DC. The differences are mechanical and thermal: per-line current capacity, the Schneider Electric power input and output connector part numbers (which scale with current rating), chassis dimensions, weight, and the presence of forced-air cooling on the LI-3P-163 and LI-3P-1100.

The LI-3P-116 and LI-3P-132 use louvered side panels for passive cooling. The LI-3P-163 and LI-3P-1100 add two user-controlled internal cooling fans drawing through 4.5" circular intake openings on the rear panel and exhausting through two 4" square outlets on the top cover, both protected against debris.
