The Anritsu MT8220T BTS Master is a high-performance handheld base station analyzer designed for installation and maintenance of wireless networks. It combines a 400 MHz to 6 GHz Cable and Antenna Analyzer, a 150 kHz to 7.1 GHz Spectrum Analyzer, and a 10 MHz to 7.1 GHz Power Meter in a single ruggedized touchscreen instrument weighing 4.6 kg (10.2 lb), with dimensions of 315 mm x 211 mm x 77 mm.

The MT8220T is built for the field technician and base station engineer who needs cable and antenna line sweeping, signal analysis for cellular standards, ultra-sensitive spectrum analysis, interference tracking, and — with the optional Vector Signal Generator — receiver testing, all from one tool. Application coverage spans LTE/LTE-A FDD/TDD, GSM/GPRS/EDGE, W-CDMA/HSPA+, TD-SCDMA/HSPA+, CDMA/EV-DO, and WiMAX Fixed/Mobile signal analysis when the corresponding measurement options are installed.

ValueTronics International, LLC stocks, tests, and ships test and measurement equipment from our 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every {{CONDITION}} MT8220T leaves our facility after hands-on verification by our technicians — not a passing visual check, but documented performance assessment against the manufacturer's published specifications. That accountability is what separates a professional T&M reseller from a drop-shipper or pass-through broker, and it is the reason base station contractors, wireless infrastructure teams, and defense electronics labs come back to ValueTronics for their next instrument.

Brand Heritage

Anritsu Corporation is a long-established Japanese precision measurement company. Anritsu's North American RF measurement presence was significantly expanded by its 1990s acquisition of Wiltron Company, the US-based RF instrument maker — Wiltron-era VNAs and analyzers are now Anritsu-lineage instruments fully supported through the current Anritsu service organization.

Important: Maximum continuous input is +30 dBm on the spectrum analyzer RF In (Type N, female, 50 Ω, ±50 VDC). The RF Out / Reflection In port is rated for a maximum input of +23 dBm, ±50 VDC.Important: All specifications and characteristics apply to Revision 2 instruments after 10 minutes of warm-up time over the 23 °C ± 5 °C temperature range, using internal reference signal, with calibration within the recommended 12 month period.Important: The High Accuracy Power Meter function (Option 0019) requires an external USB power sensor, sold separately.Important: CPRI Measurements (Option 750) operate over a temperature range of -10 °C to +45 °C, and CPRI measurements support the LTE technology.Important: Typical specifications shown in parentheses represent the mean value of measured units and do not include any guard-bands or uncertainties. They are not warranted. Typical specifications not in parentheses are not tested and not warranted; they are generally representative of characteristic performance.Recommended pairing: when line sweeping in tightly spaced antenna feedline environments or under active RF conditions, pair the MT8220T with Anritsu phase-stable test port cables — the InterChangeable Adaptor 15RCN50 series for changeable connector interfaces, or the 15RNFN50 / 15RDFN50 / 15RDN50 armored reinforced-grip series for cable and antenna line sweep applications.
