The MS4630A is a network analyzer covering 10 Hz to 300 MHz, designed for electronics production lines that demand fast, accurate device measurements. It is well suited to high-speed evaluation of IF filter resonance and group delay characteristics, and to evaluating the impedance characteristics of resonators used in AV equipment and personal computers. A fast sweep speed of 150 µs per measurement point is achieved through a high-speed synthesizer and digital signal processing, while strengthened post-processing data-analysis macros increase total production throughput.
Its listed applications center on filter and resonator characterization on production and inspection lines. The instrument measures filter characteristics such as 3 dB bandwidth, center frequency (fo), in-band ripple, and out-of-band attenuation, which are digitally processed and analyzed at high speed. Dedicated resonator analysis functions evaluate resonance frequency (Fr) and resonance impedance (Zr), with Resonator 2 adding resonator equivalence measurement. Single and segmented limit-test functions provide real-time pass/fail evaluation of devices under test.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is fulfilled directly from that facility; used units are inspected and functionally verified in-house against the original manufacturer's specifications before they ship, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received.

Important: Maximum input power: +20 dBm AC / ±2.2 V DC (50 Ω); 0 dBm AC / ±20 V DC (1 MΩ).
Important: Reflection/impedance measurements are made with an external transducer. The standard delivery includes only the power cord, fuses, and operation manuals; a Reflection Bridge (62-series or MA2000-series) or the MA4605A Impedance Adapter must be ordered separately to perform reflection/impedance measurements (see Optional accessories).
Recommended pairing: use the MA4605A Impedance Adapter (10 Hz to 300 MHz, 50/75 Ω) for impedance measurement, or one of the listed reflection bridges for reflection/impedance characteristics.
