The Anritsu MS2687B is a microwave spectrum analyzer covering 9 kHz to 30 GHz, designed for evaluation of wireless LAN equipment and devices and a broad range of microwave measurement applications. The frequency coverage extends measurement capability up to fifth-order harmonics on 5 GHz Wireless LAN signals, and the instrument can be extended to 110 GHz through the use of external mixers from Anritsu's MA2741A through MA2746A series.

Applications listed for the MS2687B include evaluation of wireless LAN equipment and devices, installation and maintenance of radio stations, maintenance of microwave entrance lines, and development and production line testing of various high-frequency parts. The MS2687B addresses one-touch measurement of occupied bandwidth, channel power, and adjacent channel leakage power, and supports analysis of broadband signals through its wide resolution bandwidth.

ValueTronics International, LLC stocks, tests, and ships test and measurement equipment from our 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois. Every instrument moving through our facility is handled by our team rather than drop-shipped from a third party, which means inventory is verifiable, condition is documented from direct inspection, and questions about a specific unit reach the technicians who actually evaluated it.

Brand Heritage

Anritsu Corporation is a Japanese precision measurement company with roots reaching to 1895. Anritsu's 1993 acquisition of Wiltron Company brought significant RF and microwave measurement technology into the Anritsu portfolio, and current Anritsu RF instruments trace much of their North American commercial presence to that combination.

Important: Maximum input level: continuous average power +30 dBm with RF ATT ≥10 dB; peak pulse input +47 dBm at pulse width ≤1 µs and duty ratio ≤1% with RF ATT ≥30 dB; DC voltage 0 Vdc.Important: Specified values are obtained after warming up the equipment for 30 minutes at a constant ambient temperature and then performing calibration. The typical values are given for reference, and are not guaranteed.Important: Power sensor is optionally available and required for use of the optional power meter function. Applicable power sensors include MA4601A, MA4701A, MA4703A, and MA4705A — these must be ordered separately.Important: External mixers (MA2741A through MA2746A) must be ordered separately to extend frequency coverage up to 110 GHz.Important: Measurement software (MX268xxx series) is sold separately and is required to perform modulation analysis for the various communication systems described in the datasheet.Recommended pairing: when extending coverage above 30 GHz, use the Anritsu MA2741A through MA2746A external mixers listed in the MS2687B ordering information to reach up to 110 GHz.
