The Anritsu S820E Microwave Site Master is a portable handheld cable and antenna analyzer that covers a continuous frequency range starting at 1 MHz and extending up to 8, 14, 20, 30, or 40 GHz depending on the selected frequency option. Built on a true four-channel receiver design, it delivers vector network analyzer performance in a battery-powered, field-portable package, and adds optional VNA and Vector Voltmeter operating modes for users who need capabilities beyond cable-and-antenna line sweeping.

In its standard Cable and Antenna Analyzer role, the S820E performs 1-port measurements including Return Loss, VSWR, Cable Loss, Distance-to-Fault (DTF), Phase, and Smith Chart, along with 2-port Transmission and Cable Loss measurements. Distance-to-Fault locates faults along a transmission line out to a maximum horizontal range of 1500 m (4921 ft), while Phase and Smith Chart measurements are available in Advanced Mode for more detailed impedance characterization.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Holding instruments like the S820E in-house lets our team manage availability and fulfillment directly; every pre-owned unit is handled accordingly, with used units inspected and functionally verified by our technicians while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received.
