The Anritsu S820A is a portable, one-port microwave transmission line and antenna analyzer in the Site Master line, using frequency domain reflectometry to improve quality and reduce maintenance expense. Covering 3.3 GHz to 20.0 GHz, it extends the Microwave Site Master family frequency range to 20.0 GHz and provides a convenient field method to measure, troubleshoot, and verify transmission line and antenna systems in place of a laboratory-sized scalar analyzer or microwave test set.
The S820A targets microwave site installers, point-to-point operators, radio manufacturers, PCS/Cellular operators, and utility companies that support microwave links. Its main application is to test and measure the full 18 GHz radio frequency band (17.7 to 19.7 GHz) microwave waveguide and antenna system, making it suited to commissioning and maintaining microwave link infrastructure in the field.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer. Holding inventory directly lets the team confirm what is on hand and match the right instrument to an application quickly.
Anritsu Corporation expanded its microwave measurement business through its 1990 acquisition of Wiltron Company in the United States. The Wiltron name was retired in 1997, when that operation was rebranded as Anritsu Company, consolidating the microwave product lines under the Anritsu name.

Important: Maximum input without damage: +22 dBm at the K(f) test port; +20 dBm at the RF power detector (50 Ω).
Important: All specifications apply when calibrated at ambient temperature after a five minute warm up.
Important: The Option 5 RF Watt Meter Power Monitor does not include the RF Detector; an RF detector (e.g., 560-7N50B, N(m), 50 Ohm, 10 MHz to 20 GHz) must be ordered separately for the wattmeter function.
Important: Immunity performance (−10 dBm) represents a typical worst-case condition measured in CW mode; immunity is typically better when swept frequencies are used.
Important: The Site Master Software Tools supplied with each S820A operates with Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT.
