The Agilent 10076A is a 100:1 high voltage passive probe designed for oscilloscope measurements requiring elevated voltage handling beyond the limits of standard 10:1 probes. It provides a 66.7 MΩ input resistance when terminated into a 1 MΩ oscilloscope input and presents approximately 3 pF of input capacitance, with a compensation range of 6 to 20 pF to match the host oscilloscope's input capacitance.
High voltage probes of this class are used by engineers working with power supplies, motor drives, line-connected circuits, and other applications where signals exceed the input rating of a standard oscilloscope probe. The 10076A is rated for 4000 V CAT I (mains isolated) and 1000 V CAT II (post-receptacle mains) at pollution degree 2, with a frequency-dependent derating curve that defines the safe operating envelope from 100 kHz through 250 MHz.
ValueTronics International, headquartered at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, has supported test and measurement professionals since 1992 with new, used, and refurbished instruments and accessories. Every probe and instrument that moves through our 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse is handled by our own staff and inspected in-house, which is how we maintain consistency that drop-shippers and pass-through brokers cannot match. When you order a 10076A from ValueTronics, you are working with a company that physically possesses the inventory and stands behind what ships.
Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement division was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999, and Agilent's electronic measurement business was subsequently transferred to Keysight Technologies in 2014. The 10076A originated within the Agilent era, and probes carrying the Agilent name are part of this continuous lineage.
