The Agilent N5230A is a 2-port PNA-L microwave network analyzer. Depending on its installed options, it covers frequencies from 300 kHz to 6 or 13.5 GHz, or from 10 MHz to 20, 40, or 50 GHz, and is offered in both standard test set / standard power range and configurable test set / extended power range configurations.
A network analyzer measures how a device under test transmits and reflects signals across frequency, reporting both magnitude and phase. The N5230A performs full 2-port calibrated measurements of transmission and reflection characteristics, with segment sweep capability that can apply higher power to high-insertion-loss devices and reduced power where receiver compression or damage could occur on low-insertion-loss devices.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned instrument is inspected and functionally verified in-house by our technicians before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received, so buyers can source this analyzer with confidence in either condition.
The instrument carries the Agilent name from the era when Agilent Technologies was spun out of Hewlett-Packard in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement business was subsequently established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.
