The Agilent E5100A is a network analyzer covering 10 kHz to 300 MHz, integrating a signal source and a receiver in a single instrument. It supports one to four measurement channels and performs both magnitude and phase measurements, with measurement calibration types including response, response and isolation, and 1-port 3-term.
A network analyzer characterizes how a device behaves across frequency by comparing a stimulus signal against the device's response. The E5100A offers ratio measurement modes such as A/R, R/A, and, with the appropriate input configuration, B/R, B/A, A/B, and additional pairings, alongside absolute A, B, and R measurements. Both frequency and power sweep parameters are available, using linear (step, ramp) or list sweep types over a Cartesian display format.
ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units leave the warehouse factory-sealed exactly as received. Holding inventory directly means the instrument you order is one we physically have on hand and have prepared to the standard appropriate for its condition.
The test and measurement line carrying the Agilent name originated with Hewlett-Packard, whose test and measurement business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999. That business was subsequently transferred to Keysight Technologies in 2014.
