The Keysight P937xA is Keysight's first compact, full two-port USB vector network analyzer in the Streamline Series. It is an affordable VNA that dramatically reduces the size of test: the measurement hardware lives in a small chassis and is controlled by an external computer, with firmware that presents the same intuitive GUI used across other Keysight VNAs to reduce switching cost between models. The series provides wide frequency coverage with six frequency breaks, operating from 300 kHz up to 26.5 GHz depending on model.

Within its stated applications, the P937xA is used for manual test of passive components such as antennas, filters, cables, connectors, and adaptors. It also serves wireless component manufacturing test and aerospace/defense manufacturing test. Because the measurement chassis is compact and controlled by an external PC, it is also positioned for evaluation and design validation in classified environments.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Keeping inventory under our own roof lets our Test Architects confirm availability and condition directly, so you know what you are getting before you order.

Brand Heritage

Keysight Technologies traces its test-and-measurement lineage to Hewlett-Packard, whose instrument business was spun out as Agilent Technologies in 1999. Agilent's electronic measurement business then became Keysight Technologies in 2014, the brand under which this product is offered today.

Compare Other Models in This Series

The P937xA Streamline Series is Keysight's first compact vector network analyzer family: a set of affordable, full two-port USB VNAs packaged in a small chassis and controlled by an external computer. Every model shares the same measurement science as Keysight's benchtop VNAs and the same intuitive firmware GUI, so moving between models keeps the user experience consistent.

The six models differ principally in frequency coverage, all starting at 300 kHz and reaching a different upper limit. Across the family the units share a common compact form factor, USB control, support for Electronic Calibration (ECal) modules, and the ability to extend to a 4-port configuration with optional S97551B multiport software.

Each new model below is its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing. Select the model whose frequency coverage matches your application, then choose the listing that fits your budget and timeline.

The models are distinguished by their upper frequency limit: the P9370A covers 300 kHz to 4.5 GHz, the P9371A to 6.5 GHz, the P9372A to 9 GHz, the P9373A to 14 GHz, the P9374A to 20 GHz, and the P9375A to 26.5 GHz. Frequency resolution and the noise-floor/dynamic-range figures published in the specification tables also vary by frequency band, so a higher-frequency model simply extends coverage rather than changing the core architecture.

Typical measurement cycle times shift slightly by model as the swept span widens, as shown in the measurement-speed tables. The comparison table below summarizes these per-model frequency and performance differences so you can match the right model to your highest measurement frequency.

Model Frequency Range Test Ports Test Port Connector
P9371A 300 kHz to 6.5 GHz 2 (expandable to 4-port) 3.5 mm female
P9370A 300 kHz to 4.5 GHz 2 (expandable to 4-port) 3.5 mm female
P9372A 300 kHz to 9 GHz 2 (expandable to 4-port) 3.5 mm female
P9373A 300 kHz to 14 GHz 2 (expandable to 4-port) 3.5 mm female

Important: Test port input damage level: > +20 dBm, > ±35 VDC, > 1000 V ESD.
Important: The P937xA is a USB-controlled VNA that is packaged in a compact chassis and controlled by an external computer; a host PC meeting the System Requirements (Windows 10/11 64-bit, Intel Core i7, 4 GB minimum / 16 GB recommended memory, USB 3.0) is required and is not part of the instrument.
Important: Corrected (calibrated) measurements require an appropriate calibration kit — such as the N4691B Electronic Calibration Module or the 85052D Standard Mechanical 3.5 mm Calibration Kit — which is used to characterize the instrument; specified corrected performance is stated only with these kits.
Important: Multiport (up to 4-port) operation requires the S97551B software and a second P937xA instrument; configurations of up to two instruments with four test ports have been demonstrated, and multiport setups are not tested as a multi-port instrument in the factory.
Important: 75 Ω system impedance requires an appropriate adapter and calibration kit; the instrument's nominal system impedance is 50 Ω.
