The DSA800 is a series of spectrum analyzers from RIGOL Technologies built on an all-digital IF design. The series comprises three models - the DSA815, DSA832, and DSA875 - covering frequency ranges from 9 kHz up to 1.5 GHz, 3.2 GHz, and 7.5 GHz respectively, each with 1 Hz frequency resolution and an 8-inch WVGA (800x480) display in a compact, lightweight enclosure.
A spectrum analyzer displays the amplitude of input signals across a span of frequencies, letting an engineer characterize a signal's frequency content, power, and spectral purity. Across the DSA800 series the available measurement functions - supplied as an optional advanced measurement kit - include harmonic distortion, third-order intercept (TOI), channel power, adjacent channel power, occupied bandwidth, emission bandwidth, time-domain power, and carrier-to-noise ratio. EMI pre-compliance work is supported through an optional EMI filter and quasi-peak detector kit with pass/fail limits, and an optional VSWR measurement kit supports reflection measurements.
ValueTronics stocks and holds the DSA800 series in our own 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois.
The DSA800 series groups three spectrum analyzers that share the same all-digital IF platform, 8-inch WVGA display, and connectivity set while differing chiefly in frequency coverage: the DSA815 reaches 1.5 GHz, the DSA832 reaches 3.2 GHz, and the DSA875 reaches 7.5 GHz, each starting at 9 kHz.
Beyond frequency range, the DSA832 and DSA875 extend the resolution bandwidth down to 10 Hz and tighten the phase-noise and level-measurement specifications, so the choice among models is driven by the span and resolution a given measurement requires.
Each model below links to its own dedicated product page with condition-matched pricing for the new unit you select, so you can compare the DSA815, DSA832, and DSA875 individually and choose the frequency tier and condition that fit your application and budget.
The clearest difference is the upper frequency limit - 1.5 GHz on the DSA815, 3.2 GHz on the DSA832, and 7.5 GHz on the DSA875 - with the comparison table below listing each model's coverage alongside its bandwidth and amplitude specifications.
The DSA815 provides a resolution bandwidth from 100 Hz to 1 MHz and an SSB phase noise specification below -80 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, and ships with a preamplifier as standard. The DSA832 and DSA875 provide a resolution bandwidth from 10 Hz to 1 MHz and phase noise below -98 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset, with the preamplifier offered as an option; consult each model's row in the table for its specific values.

Important: Maximum input level: 50 V DC and +20 dBm CW RF at 30 dB attenuation; maximum damage level +30 dBm (1 W).
Important: Specifications are valid only when the instrument is within its calibration period, has been stored for at least two hours at 0 ℃ to 50 ℃, and has been warmed up for 40 minutes. Unless otherwise noted, the specifications include the measurement uncertainty.
Important: Mass memory uses an internal flash disk; a USB storage device for external mass memory is not supplied.
Important: RF cables, adaptors, attenuators, antennas, and VSWR bridges are optional accessories. The standard delivery includes only the quick guide, CD-ROM (user's guide and programming guide), and power cable — connection accessories to a device under test must be ordered separately (see Optional accessories / Ordering Information).
Recommended pairing: add a RIGOL VSWR bridge (VB1020, VB1032, VB1040, or VB1080) with the optional VSWR measurement kit (VSWR-DSA800) for reflection and VSWR measurements.
