The Advantest R3131 is an easy-to-use personal spectrum analyzer that combines the high accuracy required for digital radio measurement with an emphasis on operability and usability. Covering 9 kHz to 3 GHz, it presents results on a 5.7-inch black-and-white STN display with enlarged characters for clear reading, and arranges its FREQ, SPAN, and LEVEL functions alongside dedicated data-entry, marker, and control keys to streamline setup at the bench or on a production line.

The R3131 is applied across diverse fields, including mobile communications, EMC, parts evaluation, installation and maintenance, development and production lines, and CATV. Its OBW and adjacent channel leakage power (ACP) functions support transmission characteristics testing for radio equipment, while the channel power and total power functions address frequency-diffuse and multi-carrier signals. A spectrum analyzer of this type captures and characterizes signals in the frequency domain, letting an engineer view signal levels, frequency content, and power within a defined band.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, so the equipment we sell is on hand and managed by our own team. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house against the original manufacturer's specifications before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

Advantest Corporation traces its origins to Takeda Riken, a Japanese instrument maker, and adopted the Advantest name in 1985.
