Early evaluation of your design’s EMI performance is essential for a successful product. Whether your industry is information technology, communications, automotive, medical, or industrial equipment, your product must comply with EMC requirements before it can be introduced to the marketplace. The spectrum analyzer in combination with the biconical and log periodic antennas, is capable of performing far field radiated emissions scans from 30 MHz - 3 GHz. Once the problem frequencies are located with the far field scan, the near field probe set can be used to identify the trace or pin on the PCB that is radiating the problem frequencies. The standard 50 μH LISN included with the sytem can be used for CISPR, FCC and CE conducted emissions testing from 150 kHz - 30 MHz. In ensure consistent emi measurement, the system includes comb generator. The Comb Generator is a reference radiating signal source. It can be used to test your instrumentation and site before each test. Early detection of malfunctioning test equipment or changes to the site is critical to avoid measurement errors. In addition, the Comb Generator can be used to compare performance of several test sites.

Com-Power's PC-114 makes ordering your EMC precompliance system easy. PC-114 system provides the tools and accessories you needed to perform radiated and conducted emissions measurements to test your product to the major commercial and military regulatory agency requirements. In addition, the system provides the troubleshooting tools you need to locate emissions hot spots. The heart of the PC-114 system is the SPA-3000 Spectrum Analyzer. The SPA-3000 analyzer has all the capabilities needed to perform EMI measurements including quasi peak detection and EMI 9 kHz and 120 kHz bandwidths. The spectrum analyzer output can be captured by using the build in USB lash drive. The spectrum analyzer also has GPIB interface for remote operation using a PC. User oriented design allows easy access to all the functions of the spectrum analyzer using the softkeys on the front panel. The system includes calibrated biconical and log periodic antenna, a near field probe set with the patented fine tip probe, Tripod for the antennas, Line impedance stabilization network (LISN) and the industry leading EMI site reference source the Comb Generator.
