The Agilent N9340B is a handheld spectrum analyzer covering 100 kHz to 3 GHz, tunable down to 9 kHz, built for field testing. It is designed to provide a reliable, accurate and detailed picture of the communication spectrum for users handling military communications, wireless service provision and spectrum management, with the goal of avoiding impaired communication.

The N9340B addresses several field-test applications. In aerospace and defence it supports radio and radar test, interference analysis and on-site repair; wireless service providers use it for interference analysis and on-site repair; TV and broadcasting users apply it to interference analysis and channel power checks; and spectrum management authorities use it for spectrum monitoring. A central task is identifying interfering signals, which often arise from illegal transmissions and may impair services for authorized users.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois, giving buyers direct access to instruments we keep on hand. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Product Core & Specifications

Important: Options XDM (low-frequency enhancement with xDSL measurement) and IBC (IBOC AM/FM measurement) are not available as upgrades and must be ordered at the time of instrument purchase.
Important: Specifications apply after a warm-up time of 30 minutes and at least two hours of operation or storage at operating temperature, and within a valid calibration period. Data with no given tolerances are typical values only; data designated as 'typical' is not covered by the product warranty.
Important: Maximum safe input level: average continuous power ≥ +33 dBm (3 minutes maximum, input attenuator setting ≥ 20 dB) and 50 VDC maximum.
Important: An xDSL probe from Vierling is required to connect the N9340B analyzer to xDSL networks for measurements in the field (not included; required for option XDM xDSL measurements).
Important: High-accuracy USB power measurement requires an Agilent U2000 series USB power sensor (sold separately).
