The Agilent N9320A is a general-purpose RF spectrum analyzer covering 9 kHz to 3 GHz, positioned within Agilent's compact, low-cost series of sources and analyzers. It is built to deliver the essentials of an Agilent spectrum analyzer with a price/performance combination intended to be easy to afford. The instrument combines a large, full-color front-panel display with a straightforward user interface modeled on other Agilent spectrum analyzers, so setup and measurement stay simple.

The N9320A is aimed at low-cost manufacturing test of consumer and general-purpose RF electronics — including RFID/DSRC systems, Wi-Net/WiMAX devices, cordless phones, and TV, radio, and DAB equipment — where it performs spectrum tests, power measurements, and EMI/RFI evaluation. It also supports RF component characterization of filters, mixers, and antennas, measuring distortion, frequency response, and gain/loss. Beyond the production line, the analyzer is applied to R&D and new RF design verification, field installation and maintenance, bench repair, and education.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000-square-foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units leave the warehouse factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

Brand Heritage

This instrument carries the Agilent Technologies name. Agilent was spun out of Hewlett-Packard's test and measurement business in 1999, and that electronic measurement business was subsequently established as Keysight Technologies in 2014.

Accessories Supplied

  • User's Guide (hard copy and on CD-ROM; Chinese for mainland China, English for other countries and regions)
  • Programming Reference Guide on CD-ROM (English language)

Product Core & Specifications

Important: Maximum input: +40 dBm average continuous power with input attenuator ≥ 10 dB, +50 dBm peak pulse power, and 50 VDC maximum.
Recommended pairing: the Agilent N9310A RF Signal Generator (9 kHz to 3 GHz with I/Q modulation) is named as an ideal companion signal source for the N9320A.
