The 1510A is a two-channel, battery-powered, microprocessor-controlled digital signal generator. Its rugged exterior and ability to generate sine waves, square waves and a sawtooth as well as triable continuous signals on both channels makes it ideal diagnostics in the field.
Why two channels?
Having two channels gives the ability to create a phase shift in the A to B output signals as might be encountered in rotating equipment (such as a jet engine).
