## Key Features At A Glance

- Real-time spectrum analysis spanning 9 kHz to 20 GHz across the series (6.2, 14, and 20 GHz models)
- DPX spectrum processing shows time-varying RF signals with color-graded, frequency-of-occurrence displays
- Fully preselected and image free at all times for maximum dynamic range at any acquisition bandwidth
- GPIB (IEEE 488.2), 10/100/1000BASE-T LAN, and USB 2.0 interfaces for automated test-system integration
- Standard power and statistics measurements: Channel Power, ACLR, CCDF, Occupied Bandwidth, and spur search
- Power triggering standard, with frequency mask (Opt. 02) plus DPX density, runt, and time-qualified triggers (Opt. 200)
- Optional suites: phase noise and jitter (Opt. 11), pulse analysis (Opt. 20), digital modulation (Opt. 21)
- 10.4 in. touch-panel display; gap-free DPX spectrogram records spectral information for extended capture

The RSA6000 Series is a family of high-performance spectrum analyzers that combines high-performance signal analysis, wideband vector signal analysis, and the trigger-capture-analyze capability of a real-time spectrum analyzer in a single package. It is built to replace conventional high-performance signal analyzers while adding the ability to discover, trigger on, and analyze the hopping and transient signals that other signal analyzers can miss.

The series is applied to spectrum management for finding interference and unknown signals; radar and EW work, including full characterization of pulsed and hopping systems and pulsed RF signals; RF debug of components, modules, and systems; radio and satellite communications, including the time-variant behavior of cognitive-radio and software-defined-radio systems; and EMI diagnostics to increase confidence that designs will pass compliance testing.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own test-and-measurement inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Pre-owned instruments are inspected and functionally verified in-house before they ship, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer — so the unit you order moves through inventory we own and control end to end.

## Compare Other Models in This Series

The RSA6000 Series comprises three spectrum analyzers that share the same real-time architecture and differ primarily in frequency coverage: the RSA6106A (9 kHz to 6.2 GHz), the RSA6114A (9 kHz to 14 GHz), and the RSA6120A (9 kHz to 20 GHz). All three combine high-performance spectrum analysis, wideband vector signal analysis, and DPX-based trigger-capture-analyze capability in a single instrument.

Across the family, analysis is fully preselected and image free, the DPX spectrum processing engine provides live color-graded views of transient behavior, and the same standard measurement toolset and licensed option set are available. The choice between models is driven by the upper frequency limit your application requires.

Each model in the RSA6000 Series links to its own dedicated product page, where pre-owned pricing is matched to that specific configuration. Select the model whose frequency range and installed options fit your application, then review its individual page for current pre-owned availability.

The defining difference between the models is upper frequency limit: 6.2 GHz on the RSA6106A, 14 GHz on the RSA6114A, and 20 GHz on the RSA6120A, each starting at 9 kHz. This also affects the RF input connector — the RSA6106A and RSA6114A use an N-type female 50 Ω input, while the RSA6120A uses a ruggedized 3.5 mm male 50 Ω connector. Third-order intercept and displayed average noise level figures are also specified per model and per frequency band.

The comparison table below lays out the per-model frequency ranges and related specifications side by side. Beyond frequency coverage, the models share the same chassis, display, interfaces, trigger types, and the same catalog of licensed measurement options (such as Opt. 11, Opt. 20, Opt. 21, and Opt. 110), so configuration is largely a matter of selecting the frequency tier and the options needed for your measurements.
