The Anritsu MG3710A is a vector signal generator covering 100 kHz to 2.7, 4.0, or 6.0 GHz, with the upper frequency limit set by the installed frequency option. It combines vector (digital) modulation, analog modulation, and an internal arbitrary waveform generator in a single mainframe, and it can be configured with a second internal RF signal generator so that two independent signals are available from one instrument.

The platform generates modulated signals across a range of digital communication formats. Its vector accuracy and adjacent channel leakage ratio are characterized for W-CDMA, GSM, EDGE, LTE, CDMA2000, and 802.16e Mobile WiMAX, and with WLAN IQproducer software and the 802.11ac (160 MHz) option it supports wideband WLAN waveform generation. These standards are the contexts in which its modulation quality is specified.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every used unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.
