Channel count splits cleanly: 16 SE / 8 DI on the basic family, 64 SE / 32 DI on the high-density family. Sample rate steps through 250 kSa/s (U2351A, U2352A, U2355A), 500 kSa/s (U2353A, U2354A, U2356A), and 3 MSa/s single-channel / 1 MSa/s multi-channel (U2331A). ADC resolution is 16-bit on every model except the U2331A, which trades resolution for speed at 12-bit.

Analog output presence is the other axis. The U2351A, U2353A, U2355A, U2356A, and U2331A include two analog output channels with 1 MSa/s update rate and predefined sine/square/triangle/sawtooth/noise waveform generation.
