The Com-Power ABM-6000 is a precisely tuned, linearly polarized, mini-biconical dipole antenna operating at the low end of the microwave band over the frequency range of 1 GHz to 6 GHz. It may be used as either a transmitting or receiving antenna, and was specifically designed to comply with radiation pattern specifications detailed in CISPR 16-1-4 (section 8.2.2.1).

The ABM-6000 is intended as the transmit source antenna for site validations above 1 GHz at radiated emissions test sites, including OATS (open area test sites), anechoic chambers, and semi-anechoic chambers. The antenna is also suited to applications such as amplifier harmonic measurements per IEC 61000-4-3 and field surveys, and is well-matched to measurements of high level signals with minimum field disruption. Because the ABM-6000 has a true dipole-like radiation pattern as described in CISPR 16-1-4, it is the appropriate choice as the transmit source antenna for test site validations using the site voltage standing-wave ratio (SVSWR) procedure.

ValueTronics has supplied the test and measurement community since 1992 and operates a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive, Elgin, Illinois, where instruments are stored, inspected, and verified by our in-house team before shipment. Unlike drop-shippers and pass-through brokers, we physically hold the equipment we sell — which means condition is known, accessories are confirmed, and questions get answered by people who have hands on the product.
