The Com-Power LI-1100 is a Line Impedance Stabilization Network designed to provide the measurement platform required for power line conducted emissions compliance testing. It is built to the requirements of CISPR 16-1-2 and ANSI C63.4, the two measurement standards most commonly referenced by worldwide commercial product compliance regimes. Each LI-1100 unit ships as a pair of separately housed single-conductor networks, allowing installation in series with each current-carrying conductor in a single-phase, dual-phase, or DC power system. A second LI-1100 pair extends coverage to three-phase Wye or Delta configurations.

A line impedance stabilization network performs two functions in a conducted emissions test setup: it presents a defined and stable RF impedance to the equipment under test across the measurement band, and it isolates the EUT from RF disturbances originating on the mains supply. Without this defined impedance and isolation, conducted emissions measurements vary with the mains environment and cannot be repeated reliably across test facilities or compared to the limits published in regulatory standards. The LI-1100 establishes the controlled conditions under which conducted emissions data becomes meaningful for compliance documentation.

ValueTronics International stocks and supports the Com-Power LI-1100 from our 20,000 square foot secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Compliance test equipment requires accurate documentation and reliable performance — every unit shipped from our facility carries the manufacturer's individual calibration data, and our staff supports the configuration and accessory questions that EMC test setups commonly involve.

**Important:** Use of a transient limiter between the LISN's RF port and the measurement instrument is highly recommended for impedance matching, reduction of out-of-band emissions, and transient protection.**Important:** The mounting plate of the LI-1100 is left unpainted in order to facilitate connection to earth ground in its installation, which is essential due to high leakage current.**Important:** Use of a Transient Limiter for impedance matching, reduction of out-of-band emissions, and transient protection for your measurement instrument is highly recommended and available separately from Com-Power.**Important:** A second LI-1100 pair can be used to accommodate 3-phase power systems (Wye or Delta configurations); a single LI-1100 set covers single-phase, dual-phase, or DC power systems.Recommended pairing: a compatible transient limiter at the RF port, available from Com-Power, for impedance matching and measurement instrument protection per the manufacturer's installation guidance.
