The LeCroy LP142 is a compact digital oscilloscope from the LiteRunner line. At approximately 6.6 lbs (3 kg) and measuring 8.4" x 6.7" x 6.5" (214 x 170 x 166 mm), it is built to be carried easily and to fit onto crowded workbenches, combining a two-channel acquisition system, an integrated 5.7" backlit LCD, and built-in data-output hardware in a single portable package.

An oscilloscope captures electrical signals as waveforms—voltage plotted against time—letting an engineer see a signal's amplitude, frequency, timing, and shape. The LP142 supports this work with cursors and measurement parameters and is suited to troubleshooting signal interruptions, with an on-screen Help function that explains menu functions for both newer and experienced users.

ValueTronics stocks and holds its own inventory in a 20,000 sq ft secure warehouse at 1675 Cambridge Drive in Elgin, Illinois. Every pre-owned unit is inspected and functionally verified in-house before it ships, while new units ship factory-sealed exactly as received from the manufacturer.

## Brand Heritage

LeCroy Corporation was acquired by Teledyne Technologies in 2012 and has since operated under the Teledyne LeCroy name.
